Basic Function: Perform as a technical lead on projects and business pursuits as a Senior Systems Engineer with an understanding of disciplined system engineering processes as well as technical domain knowledge.This position requires direct interfaces the Chief Systems Engineers, Program Managers, and Principal Engineers to receive tasking and draw upon their expertise.This position requires effective communications and interfacing with engineering staff across a program to accomplish Systems Engineering assignments and support others in accomplishing their engineering assignments.
Responsibilities: This job requires the candidate to perform system engineering tasks, inclusive of but not limited to those identified below, with minimal supervision:
Technical Trade Studies
Risk Management & Mitigation Plans
Proposal Generation, both Technical and Cost
Requirements Development, Segmentation, Flow-Down, Verification, and Validation
Perform as a Project Engineer developing project plans and executing schedules to closure
Management of Systems Engineering small to large team
Work closely with program management, chief engineers, and principal engineers to appropriately identify and manage challenging issues
Demonstrate domain technical knowledge regarding Signal Processing Architectures and Systems
Provide detailed technical guidance to the project team regarding all technical decisions on each project in the areas of:
RF Requirements and Design
Digital Signal Processing Implementations
Detailed Systems Design and Implementation
Systems Integration and Test
Required: Ten to fifteen (10-15) years’ experience in signal collection and signal processing systems
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university

Current DoD Top Secret SCI Security Clearance
Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
Must possess a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).
